We’re starting off our free to download and 3D print accessories with a protractor attachment for the Compressed Air Rocket Launcher v2.2. There are only three parts to print, and no tools or fasteners are needed for assembly. The models and instructions are available on Thingiverse (#2639573 click here) and also on YouMagine (click here).
We would like to thank James Montagna, one of our customers who is a STEM Teacher in Farmington, CT. James had sent us pictures and files of a laser cut protractor he had built and assembled to a CAR v2.2 launcher. It inspired us to complete this design we had started months ago. It’s perfect for setting a launching angle and learning about ballistic trajectories.
More 3D printable designs are already in the works, and will continue to be added. Next will be rocket attachments that fit perfectly with our foam noses and plastic body tubes, but can also be used with paper bodied rockets.
